Engagement process
A clear path from first scoping call to signed opinion — so your finance team knows when documents are due and when auditors will be on site.
This process describes our statutory financial statement audit. Control assessments, due diligence, and agreed-upon procedures follow a shorter path with the same emphasis on evidence and written findings.
-
Scoping & independence
We review your structure, year-end, and any non-audit services already provided. If independence is clear, we issue a proposal with fee, timing, and assumptions.
-
Planning & walkthroughs
Partners and managers walk revenue, purchases, and inventory cycles with your process owners. Materiality and significant risks are set before substantive testing begins.
-
Interim fieldwork
Where calendars allow, we test controls and early balances before year-end so the final weeks focus on cut-off, inventory, and estimates.
-
Year-end fieldwork
Teams attend inventory counts when required, send confirmations, and examine supporting documents for material balances at your Taiwan sites.
-
Clearance & reporting
Review notes are cleared with your finance lead. We hold a closing meeting, issue the opinion and management letter, and archive working papers under our retention policy.
